Over the past year we have worked tirelessly to ensure their recipe boxes are as intelligent as possible; after vigorous testing piloted with 4,000 loyal customers throughout all weather conditions – including last year’s heatwave we have concluded with a fantastic product.
The brand-new insulated cardboard boxes are completely plastic free and fully recyclable – removing the previously used wool insulator liners that came wrapped in plastic packaging. Our new technology involves wrapping many layers of paper to trap air, creating small pockets of insulation that prevents the cold from escaping; this ensures your fresh food is always delivered in the best possible conditions and now in an eco-friendly fashion.
Going forward, Gousto have assured customers that they will be constantly working with suppliers like us to ensure all Gousto branded packaging is fully reusable, recyclable or compostable by the end of 2022.
One of our favourite steps towards this new initiative is our egg boxes, not only are they creatively designed, the boxes ensure nobody receives scrambled eggs, protecting your delicate eggs from any knocks and bumps whilst winging its way to the customer’s doorstep.
